Grand Inauguration of IBR India

IBR Institute of International Business Relations (India) has inaugurated its India operations in Hyderabad today. The inauguration ceremony was held at Hotel Taj Deccan, Banjara Hills. Sri Gollapalli Surya Rao, Honourable Minister for Small Scale Industries, Khadi & Village Industries Board and Lidcap, Government of Andhra Pradesh was the chief guest and Dr. Andreas Kelling, Founder Director of IBR Institute of International Business Relations, Germany was distinguished guest for this ceremony. Dr. MVS Ram Prasad, Sri M Bala Sridhar and Sri Eappen John the directors of IBR India were also present there.

In September IBR will launch its first Global MBA in India. It seeks to create tangible benefits for participants and their companies from the very first day. Students become business consultants to their own companies. They analyse their companies and business environments in depth in order to produce management reports with precise suggestions for improvements. As a matter of fact, education is not considered to be an expense, but an activity creating income for the companies involved.

As that, the IBR approach to executive education in India will be unique:

  • IBR students work and study at the same time. Work and university studies become a symbiosis.
  • IBR students are exposed to management theory with the clear purpose to apply key aspects of it in their companies immediately.
  • IBR acknowledges that the successful application of know-how requires communication, social and analytical skills. Therefore IBR faculty members consider themselves as trainers, mentors and coaches more than a professor that is required to transfer knowledge.
  • IBR students become part of the Global IBR Network that is not limited to Hyderabad, but allows them to network around the globe. These opportunities exist for career development as well as for establishing business contacts.
