Our MBA | IBR and its MBA - An Overview

IBR is the Global Business School at Steinbeis University Berlin. The MBA faculty has teaching experience at prestigious business schools around the world. This experience covers London Business School, INSEAD, Oxford University, Wharton Business School, Harvard Business School and others.

The programme itself takes about 2 years to complete. It is taught in English. In total, students study 30 courses which cover the main aspects of management activities. While studying, participants have an opportunity to optimise their own work as every course ends with a practical business project supported by or in conjunction with professorial assistance.

In addition to these courses, students participate in five weekly residential periods with IBR professors drawn from various countries of the world. Residential periods take place either in the student's home country, or countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, Israel, India or Ukraine. Applicants have the possibility to select residentials in those countries that they prefer. Details are available at local IBR offices.

Students are also offered 30 business consultations (appr. six hours per month), planned for weekends. All of them are conducted in IBR's local offices.

In contrast to the stereotype that studying is time consuming, the programme saves time by giving students the opportunity to apply every course to the practical needs of their businesses, helping combine work with study. IBR grants a maximum of freedom, adjusting studies to the strenuous work schedule of the participants.

The IBR MBA is counted among the best European programmes which is documented by its latest accreditation conducted by the Foundation of International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).

On successful completion of the programme, students obtain a full MBA German state diploma, recognised all over the World.

To enter the programme it is necessary to go through a selection process based on assessment of prior education, professional and personal experience.
